What materials did you use? Stretch Denim Print (4% Spandex/Cotton blend)

What are you most proud of? The fit and how comfortable they are to wear. I finally got the fly front zipper to look like one on my original Gap Jeans that I copied. Even though I was meticulous in my measuring and construction methods, it took making three pairs of jeans to get this feature just right. The printed denim was a bit of a style stretch for me but very liberating to wear when all was said and done! I've gotten compliments on these jeans every time I've worn them.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Cut everything out in single layer. It's more time-consuming but worth the effort to be sure you're really cutting on straight of grain. To maintain shape, don't choose a denim fabric with a spandex content over 4%.. My original GAP jeans were made with a 4% spandex/cotton stretch denim and they never get too baggy, even after wearing them several times.
