What materials did you use? Fun Fur by Lion Brand Yarn Co. Red Heart Shimmer

What advice would you give someone starting this project? On this cap and all hats for chemo patients I use 16" round needles so there is no seam to sew. On the crown when the number of stitches is reduced I divide the sts and add another 16" needle, and finish it off.

How do I get this pattern?

I found 2 patterns on the web: 1) www.lionbrand.com chemo cap and 2) www.knittingonthenet.com chemo cap knitting pattern. I prefer the Lionbrand but both are good. I use a round 16" knitting needle to avoid seam and at the crown as stitches decrease add another 16" round or you can use 4 double point needles. I do anything I can to avoid seams. Hope this helps.....Edna

Love this hat. Where can I get this pattern

This is an easy hat to make. You know how it is with knitters, we sort of evolve into our own thing; but basically, if I remember correctly, I used a pattern from Lion Brand Yarn with Fun Fur and a 'chemo pattern' from the web. I don't like straight needles so used round 16" and when the stitches got less and less divided them onto 2 16" needles. That way there's no seam. Hope this helps. EH
