What was your inspiration?
Music is so healing that when I saw this musical fabric panel, I thought it would make a great quilt for RVH new Cancer Centre.
What are you most proud of?
Glue the "little" ( I mean little) musical buttons on the quilt. It took a lot of time to position them so they enhanced the quilt.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Put on some good music and go with the flow. Picking your favourite panels and fabric will make you enjoy the quilt and everyone will see that in the quilt. I went with black/white/beige however don't hesitate to throw in hits of colour like red, purple or blue.
