What was your inspiration?
Here is a picture of our Daisie. She was just born this Monday night, 2/13/12. Today was her first outing to Petsmart and Tractor Supply, so I just had to make her something for her debut. She is donning a sweater made by me on a Knifty Knitter loom, trimmed with a beautiful crochet edging of Samba Glitz Silver yarn for an extra special touch of class.
I like to make these sweaters in the event our babies arrive during cold weather. I took the opportunity to add a little extra special touch to this one because Daisie was a single birth and we needed to bring her home to bottle feed. I am always trying to think of new ways to incorporate some of these new yarns into my projects and this was the perfect added touch.
I have made some and put them up for sale at local craft shows, but I think they will really sell much better if I can offer the added ruffle for the girls.
