yes, now that you mention it those corners sort of round out the block like a snowball block.

I made another Barbara Fritchie block and I think I like this one better. I turned my sewing machine slower and it did much better on the bias edges. I also paid attention to the direction of my stripes as I cut and laid out my squares.
