Inspired by a cake I saw in Zoe Clark's: Sweet Tables. The frill is made using a petal tip - I used the Wilton 103 tip. Practice on an inverted cake tin until you feel confident to do it on the real thing. Also you can scoop up the buttercream and use it again. Waste not, want not!Difficulty:
