Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: Hello, The cake is covered in ivory sugarpaste, which I colored myself. I used Maggie Austins technique to create the frills. Also I used a lace mold for the lace application. The roses have frilled borders to look a bit more fragile and to fit in the overall cake design.

What are you most proud of? - Of using Maggie Austins technique without copying completly her style (I think... :-) ) - As I usually do more neat and clean cake designs, I am very happy about the delicate look of this cake.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Use a paste machine

Beautiful! I love how you've incorporated the frills and the lace.
