What was your inspiration?
My step-son's 21st birthday.
I wanted to make something he would be able to use and have it last.
What are you most proud of?
How bright the stars show up on the dark colors.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Something this large is not as easy to do - you must "fight" with the sewing machine, so be prepared unless you are lucky enough to have a long arm to quilt it with.
I may make one suggestion - if you "quilt" it in pieces - like one row at a time then sew the rows together and then sew a "band" or sashing over that (on the backside) it may be easier.
Good luck and I wish you much success
