What are you most proud of?

That I finished it! I accidentally trimmed each piece down on the solid line inside the dotted line. Whoops! I really loved my fabric..and I ran out of extra. So, I decided to just add a border around and be satisfied.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Try to work on this without distractions. If you have a busy toddler, I sympathize!

Thank you! What did you think of the flying geese block compared to this one as far as execution? Was it more difficult? I didn't think the circle of friends was difficult..but I got cocky at the very end at the trimming part and didn't pay close enough attention to the trimming directions.

It looks lovely with the extra border - I've got a block that's too small, so instead of re-making it, I just might add something, as you have done. I think yours is the first example of this block I've seen which has a bold pattern in the middle and it works well.
