What materials did you use? DMC embroidery floss, in red, charcoal, pale gray, and turquoise.

Friendship bracelets were my very first experience producing any sort of fibre art, many moons ago. They'll always have a special place in my heart because of it. I love your colour combination!

Mine too. I sure wish I could remember how I did it!! I remember we all sat around with safety pins on our knees knotting embroidery floss... Now I can't remember how I did it, and my daughter is like... come on mom, show me! =/

Sinexa, I actually found this really great site with great, customisable searches (number of strings, number of rows, number of colours, etc. ) that may help jog your memory. Or heck, the two of you could learn together. http://friendship-bracelets.net/patterns2.php I don't think Craftsy has PM functionality yet, so I hope you see this! These bracelets are essentially macrame in miniature. I reckon the smart money is on macrame getting an update and being a hot handicraft in the near future. It's languished in the 70s far too long!
