What was your inspiration?
Quilt Magazine asked me to design a quilt using only Australian fabrics and to make it light and bright. I love the purples. So I decided to do a play on light and dark fabrics. The colors here work so well together and I love the look. Simple yet modern.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Have fun with it. This is a simple pattern and you can utilize many different types of fabrics to create this look.
