What materials did you use? Vintage hanging wall calendar (fabric front) and silly kitty fabric for the back.

What are you most proud of? The French seam. It really makes for a professional finish. I'd like to make more, perhaps with less dorky fabric. Or perhaps with more. I am a big dork at heart. (and that's a good thing)

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take her sewing course as a refresher, as I did since I never had formal lessons. I feel like it's giving me fresh inspiration and motivating me to sew more!

Wow! I love this-- The calendar is a clever idea and cute to boot! :)

All of us "dorks" must stick together!!! Love, love, love your pillow! I would put li'l "doggies" on the back of my calendar pillows...but it still would be similar to yours. It's fun being is too stressful...everyone needs a break! Love it!! A+
