Materials
Floral cotton print mounted on coutil, with embroidered tulle lace upper cups, lined with satin and stretch mesh. Embellished with knitting ribbin, grosgrain ribbon and satin ribbon roses.
What was your inspiration?
Following Mrs Depew's blog first interested me in the project, followed by a dig through my stash for a fabric that appealed.
What are you most proud of?
This is my first attempt at a bra, so the fact that it looks something like the picture is pretty good.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Make sure you remember to add seam allowances when you cut, and compare the cup pieces to an existing bra to make sure the size is right.
