What was your inspiration?

I made this arrangement after going to a friends wedding. I just loved the flowers she had in her bridal bouquet. Her complaint was that they were getting dusty and looked fake. She didn't want real flowers and the silk ones she had were not exactly what she wanted so I made one like this arrangement for her that she just loved.

What are you most proud of?

I am proud of myself for how this one turned out. I just love the look of the whole arrangement. It was my first attempt at making the Calla Lilies and with every one at the wedding just LOVING it I new it was a success.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

With any French Beaded Flower you have to have a LOT of free time, the ability to NOT get frustrated easily, and the basic knowledge of flowers. Since I work with the smallest of seed beads I will not move for hours on end. Each flower can take up to a hour or more to make. Once you get the hang of it it will get easier and you can start to play around with other flowers.
