What materials did you use? fabric from stash to make the BOM blocks and Isacord thread for quilting. Free motion quilting was done on my older Bernina 830

Thank you. I learned a lot working on this quilt.

I would love to take this class. First, how much is this class, secondly, is this class for a beginner quilter (I've only make four quilts) and lastly will I be able to work on it on my own time schedule? This sounds like a wonderful class.

The class for piecing the quilt was free! It was the original block of the month class in 2012 and it was great. Amy Gibson went through each of the blocks (2 blocks/month) and, yes, you can work on your own schedule and go back to watch as often as you like. The free motion quilting with Leah Day is available right now for $24.99 and, again, you work at your own pace. Both classes were great for a beginner like me - this was my second bed-sized quilt. I will say that all the quilting makes it beautiful but also makes the quilt stiffer, something I have learned to watch for when thinking about quilts for children.
