I'm really ashamed to post these but my Avante is new to me and is my first and only longarm. It feels like ice skating the first time!

Good for you! I've had my Avante since last August and I was also completely new to longarm! You will be amazed at the progress you'll make over just a few months! And once it clicks, it just sticks! Keep it up!! :) You're awesome!

Oh sissy! I think it is great and you will be skating like a pro before too long!!

There is definitely a longarm learning curve! If you want to be encouraged, do a loopy meander all over something. Volunteer to quilt your friend's UFOs as long as they don't have requirements for how fancy they are. If you put in the practice time, you'll see improvement. In fact, it looks like your feathers are already improving!
