Lighted Christmas Tree at night, holiday wall hanging by day. What a fun project! I really have to thank Leah Day for giving me the confidence to pick up free motion quilting at the ripe old age of 68! She's the absolute best teacher and I highly recommend her to everyone. Happy Holidays one and all!

Absolutely beautiful. thank you for sharing with us.....we are never too old to learn new tricks. I didn't even begin to teach myself to make quilts until 2 years ago and I am now 54, I am learning the free motion from Leah Day as well, I followed her blog and now am taking her classes on craftsy also, I love her easy explanations and her personality is so refreshing....have fun quilting and Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays....

They are battery powered. I stitched a small pocket on the lower center back to hold the battery pack. They operate on 3 AA batteries.
