Thank you, for your comment. Yes, the little bit of red adds joy to the whole quilt. Red is my husband's favourite colour and I love plaid. And flannel is just great to work with. Blessings!

I wish I could see the whole quilt. I love the plaids. How big are the squares? How big is it overall? I am just wondering because after I made my "little boy rag quilt" I got a request for a larger one.. from my son in law!

Thank you for your patience. I thought I had replied about ten days ago, but there was obviously some sort of a glitch... Anyway, the quilt is five squares in one row for a total of eight rows. The squares were 10" with a seam allowance of 0.5".
