What was your inspiration?
When I saw this trick-or-treat bag at http://homemadebyjill.blogspot.com/2011/10/simple-felt-trick-or-treat-bags_14.html I instantly fell in love. It was so adorable that I couldn't resist making it for my daughter. It was so cute that I also made mini bags for her kindergarten class and filled them with candy.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
If you decide to make the mini-bags, give yourself more time than you think you will need. It took longer than I thought. The pieces were so small (on the mini-bags) they wouldn't fit through the machine so I had to hand sew them.
