What are you most proud of? I like the wonky dresdens a lot. You can really see how different lengths on the petals looks on the middle dresden. The method was pretty easy and it allowed me to get my cutting done so quickly! Maybe I'll work up a little guide.I really like the way the frames turned out as well, I like the overlapping and may try for a "transparent" look next time. I really loved the quilt from this class that had that look.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't plan it out too much. Just have an idea of where you want the quilt to go and then let it blossom as you work. Blossom. Ha ha! See what I did there? :-)

loving it! A pattern sounds like a good idea. I am looking forward to seeing it quilted

Thank you! It's next in the cue! I'm still trying to decide how I wan to go with it. :)

I finally have it finished. I quilted it with large flowers in the negative space. I dig it. :)

very very nice and I love the quilting especially the looped quilting in the petals which matches the feel of the flowers in the negative space.

Thank you so much! I woke up with that idea and traced out the design on the steamy shower door to make sure I could quilt it continuously. :)

WOW! This jumped out at me because of the simplicity and great use of color and negative space. Love the quilting as well. Bravo!
