What was your inspiration?
The colors of the wools made me want to try Fractal Spinning.
What are you most proud of?
I learned a brand new technique! As you can see in my bobbins above, I spun the bobbin on the right a bit different from the one on the left. I learned how to do fractal spinning and found this technique to be quite an interesting experience. I really love the length of the color in the bobbin on the right an as you notice, theres less of a barber pole effect as in the bobbin on the left.
Best part, I finally achieved over 300 yards of fingering weight yarn!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Go slow and practice, practice, practice!
