What are you most proud of? This is my first time doing and exploding cake, so I'm happy with how it turned out and how surprisingly easy it was.
What advice would you give someone starting this project? Put the fruit in last. I put it in before I airbrushed and had to remove it. Silly. I cut the hole down to the first layer and filled it with banana cream, strawberries and blueberries. Work quickly with the embossing. I couldn't use the rolling pin and had to do each one individually. the fondant started to dry out. Thank goodness for shortening and the lid to cover up the cracking!
