Four Elements Bracelet

Instructions

All rows must be the same length. I use a 2mm sterling silver bead for the turn around inside of the clasp with the beading wire.

Difficulty:

Category: Jewelry

Type of item: Accessory

For: Women

Style: Classic, Traditional

Materials

Sleeping Beauty Turquoise, pearls, carnelian, sterling silver, flexible beading wire, sterling silver crimps, sterling silver beads, sterling silver spacer bars and sterling silver clasp.

What was your inspiration?

The materials - their colors together are beautiful.

What are you most proud of?

The turnaround inside of the clasp with the beading wire and then opening the sterling silver beads with a reamer to accomodate the crimps so that they are not visible.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Work with beading wire and crimps on a single strand first - and look at your beads for beautiful color combinations.

Thanks so much! In designing this bracelet I thought about the tradional color combination of turquoise, coral and silver and decided to tweak my materials by adding faceted carnelians (instead of coral) and bringing the pearls in - I love pearls with turquoise. Having that bit of flash from the faceted carnelians, the luster of pearls, the deep blue richness of Sleeping Beauty Turquoise with the Sterling Silver felt so right. I love color so much and the way materials play off of each other. Again Thanks! Lisa :)

Thank you - the turnaround with the 2mm beads was difficult but worth the effort for the precision.
