What was your inspiration?
My daughter. This pillow was made for her 7th birthday. She is a big fan of Fancy Nancy.
What are you most proud of?
The foundation piecing and the quilting.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
-I always cut the pillow front the same size as my pillow form, e.g. 18" x 18" so that the pillow form fits snuggly inside the pillow cover.
-If I make an envelope closure for the back of the pillow, then I use two pieces that are each 2/3's the size of the pillow form; in this case, 12" x 18".
