What are you most proud of? It's my first shaped cake... couldn't be happier about how similar it is to the original!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Bake the cake at least a day earlier, and preferably carve while it's cold.

This is a beautiful bag! How did you get the handles to stand up, and to get the zipper to look authenthic? I hope to start practicing on my first bag this week. Thank you

Thank you! I used paper covered floral wire and covered with fondant for the handles. I used two wires for each handle, but then I didn't have anything else. A thicker wire should do fine too. For the zipper, I used a design wheel tool. Just need to run it over a thin strip of fondant (it's like a pizza cutter with a patterned edge), and paint the entire strip silver or gold. Good luck with your bag!
