These are all wonderful. I'm trying to figure out how you layered this. Was the yellow the top layer with the sports novelty fabric under that? How did you know where to put the stitches to reveal the soccer ball, etc? Could you see that through the yellow? Such a clever use of the stitch and slash technique!

Thanks! The layers were: yellow, red, black and then the soccer. So the bottom layer is the one I sewed around on top. Very easy to see soccer balls. Just had to remember to print/sew names in mirror image.
