The only challenge in this necklace was how to attach the charm and the pendant. I used non-tarnish 20 ga. silver craft wire to fashion a bail and attached both at once.Difficulty:

What was your inspiration?
My niece Becky has for some years organized a card-signing event to support our troops. Every year she buys hundreds of Christmas cards and candy canes and invites a group of family and friends to a pot-luck brunch for the purpose of writing a short, encouraging message on each card. Her goal was 2000 cards this year, and she had to borrow the church hall to accommodate everyone. She packages cards and candy and sends them off to an entire platoon, adopted from a website for that purpose. This year, on behalf of the troops, I said "Thank You" with this necklace since I know Becky loves turquoise.
What are you most proud of?
Why, Becky, of course!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Start with love and let your fingers do the rest.
