What was your inspiration?

Hi !!! I made this wedding cake for my son's wedding last Saturday. It is inspired on a picture of a cake they saw on the latest issue of Brides mag. I am not a professional cake decorator, but a mom who wanted to please her son, and did a lot of research to make this cake !!! LOL

What are you most proud of?

The elgance of the cake.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Start making the roses and fondant at least a week and a half ahead of time.

Good luck !!! Making a big cake, and being mother of the groom is not easy. Organization and planning helps a lot, and even then it can be a little stressful. I didn't have the time to get my hair or nails professionally done. oh well !!! hahaah
