What was your inspiration?
I did this cake before I took Maggie Austin's course so the frills look a little chunky! The design idea came from the venue where my grand daughter had her birthday party - a shop for young girls to go along and have their nails done, make bath bubbles and so on. I used the shop banner - scallops and dots for the top tier, ruffles for the middle, and the bottom was based on the zebra striped chairs at the venue.
What are you most proud of?
I like the candles - just from the 2 Dollar Shop with glitter and "jewels" glued on!
