What are you most proud of? Being able to take this style and have fun with it. I know its not exactly like Maggie Austin's and I am totally okay with that.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Make sure you give your frills the proper drying time. However, I did find it very helpful that if one of my frills was not supported enough, to use a little bit of white chocolate as a glue to hold it in place. Also. to create the deep frills actually pleated the fondant as I was applying it to the cake. Working in small pieces was a huge help as well. From start to finish this 6 & 8 tier took me 3.5 hours to complete.

Thank you Maggie! I still would like to do one exactly the way you have done yours. My daughters birthday is coming up in June and purple is her favorite color. I think I will do a 6" purple ombre with a fantasy flower for her. I will be sure to post pics!! Thank you for sharing your technique!!!
