What was your inspiration?

Joshua, wow what a teacher. I can't wait for his lessons to come out.

What are you most proud of?

All of it! ;)

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

It's fun, does hurt the fingers a bit, but very forgiving for a beginner too!

Now THIS is a cake that speaks fashion when you see it. I'm VERY impressed with the ruffles, the belt and the top layer which to me reminds me of either a seersucker feel, crepe, or even a smocking look to it. It's a VERY impressive flower but believe it or not that's the only thing I would change. I would have several smaller ones or one smaller one in the middle. But then, everyone's taste and likes are all very different. The email that brought me into the site and this class today was about combining taste and fashion. To me this cake says fashion all the way. I think it would be PERFECT for a teenage girl or other woman's brithday or function. I've liked the ruffle look for quite a while now, I'm going to have to try it myself.

Thank you Nonna18! I used the veiner tool, Joshua teaches it in his Fashion Inspired Fondant class. So easy but very effective :)
