What was your inspiration?

I knitted a Norwegian pattern that I found in a magazine . ( don't remember the name) I thought it was lovely. The pattern was a bolero, but I decided to make mine longer. I made other changes to around the neck.

What are you most proud of?

When my jacket was finished I did not used it. Something made it not comfortable. I was struggling with myself: I will get rid off it or I put the scissors in it and try to make improvement. I zigzag where I wanted to place the cut. After a deep breath I cut off all neckline and garnishments. I zigzag the open stitches one more time. Then I designed a new front and neckline as i went up from left front, neck and down right..
I'm really happy I went thou all this extra work because I have used the jacket almost every day

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Don't be afraid to cut into something knitted! You can make a lot of changes if you just zigzag carefully before.
