What materials did you use? Fat Quarter collection of shirting plaids and cotton prints, Moda Bella Solids charm pack "oatmeal", Quilter's Dream Poly batting, Connecting Threads Elements thread and Isacord embroidery thread.

What are you most proud of? I am really jazzed about the new found control and design ideas I have with FMQ. I implemented ALL of Leah's tool suggestions along with trying out different battings and thread.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE.

Very nice! So, which batting did you like to quilt with?

For the quilting process they were all equally nice. After I washed them I did find that the cotton bat shrank the most while the poly & green bats allowed the quilting stitches to shine. I was very pleased with the green bat which is made entirely from recycled plastic bottles! I expect to use the green & poly bats more in the future.
