What are you most proud of? I hand pieced and hand quilted around all of the triangle areas. I don't take the time to hand quilt very often but it's totally worth it!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Just get the pattern and go for it. Because this is a miniature, you will have to be mindful of your 1/4" seams. It does make a big difference when you are working with small pieces. This piece is also for sale for $75 at SweetbriarQuilts at etsy.com.

Love the quilt. I enjoy quilting with repro fabrics the best. I love handquilting as well. I have always wanted to do a flying geese quilt...it is on the to do list. Wonderful work and great choice of colours.

After I made this quilt, my girlfriend mad one using the Jo Morton black stars as the center but then she did a miniature log cabin around them. It was really cool. You would have loved it!
