Difficulty:

Category: Knitting

Type of item: Accessory

For: Women

Style: Romantic, Whimsical

Materials

Jade Sapphire Mongolian Cashmere, 2 ply US Size 6 needles

What was your inspiration?

I wanted to familiarize myself with short rows, and this scarf was the perfect solution. I call it the Flutter Scarf because the ruffles are so delicate, I imagine they will 'flutter' in the lightest of breezes.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Even if you have never worked with short rows, do give this scarf a try. Short rows are not as hard as you may think, and you will give plenty of practice with short rows knitting this scarf.
