What was your inspiration?
I wanted to make the Zig-Zag pattern I had found so used up some left-over frabric from another project. I'm happy enough with the front and I tried to be creative with the scraps for the back but really missed the mark >:( Also, my attempt at free motion quilting is rather lack-lustre and now that i look at it i can see so many other ways to have quilted it.
What are you most proud of?
You live and learn - I am proud that i can see so many other alternatives to the quilting - I may even unpick it and try again - the effort that would take to do would really make me proud of myself :)
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
If you are not happy with what you are doing - don't continue. Stop and unpick it and have another go - it's a long time to live with something that doesn't please you.
