What was your inspiration?
I'm addicted to two-at-a-time socks, toe up. I can't seem to stop myself! When I see yarn at the LYS, I wonder what it would look like knitted up. I decided to do a seed stitch on the body, and it made me think of chainmail, which contrasted with the colorway...thence the name.
What are you most proud of?
Finally getting them done! The seed stitch was a time-consuming pattern, though it was easy enough to do. I'm getting better at figuring out how to knit them without a "formal" pattern, but still need to adjust my seat-of-the-pants knitting to increase on the leg so they fit when finished.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Socks are fun. Give them a try.
