What was your inspiration?
I LOVE making hats and I LOVE crocheting flowers, so this was a design waiting to happen! One day in the spring, I sat down and casted on the needles. Then, I picked up a hook and made some flowers. Tada...The Flowers of Spring hat was born.

What are you most proud of?
This is my most popular design. It sells well in-store and online and people love that you can create them in an afternoon. I'm also proud that the design covers sizes from baby to adult women. It also covers how to make the flowers and add leafs!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Have fun with it! Pick out some fun colors and don't be afraid to combine colors that don't usually go together. AND...because you only use small amounts for one hat, you will have plenty left over for your second and third hats. This is also a great stash-buster project. Only a knitter and don't know how to crochet the flowers? Take a class here on Craftsy and you will be all set.
