I made this quilt top in the mid 90s from left over remnants of a double wedding ring quilt. I did not quilt it until several years later, I think in 2003..made it for my mother-in-law because green was her favorite color. My special instructions are do not throw away left over pieces, you might can make another treasure out of them!Category: Quilting

What was your inspiration?
I was simply inspired to do something with my leftover quilt pieces I had so painstakingly cut out, so I made the blocks you see in the picture.
What are you most proud of?
I am proud that I made it for my mother-in-law. She deserved much more than a quilt, though. She was one of the most precious people I have ever known. She passed away 2 years ago and I miss her dearly.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Use your stash, you can make treasures out of many scraps.
