Instructions
This hat is adjustable to your size so I'm not going to write out the instructions round by round.
Start with the majic circle. Do 10 single crochet through the loop and then close it up by pulling the tail of your yarn. Do the slip stich to join. Chain 1 and do a double crochet in the first stich. Go back to the first stich and put a yarn marker through it. Keep doing the chain and double crochet for the rest of the round.
Now your at the end of the round. Do the slip stich to join. You should see holes where you did the chain one. Chain 1. Through those holes do 3 double crotchets and then chain1. This is the basic pattern of the hat. Keep going around the hat doing the chain 1 and then 3 double crotchets through the chain 1's and then chain one.
Every time you end a round you use the slip stich to join. Throughout the hat you will need to increase to adjust the size of the hat to fit your style. To do this you will need to chain one do 3 double crotchets through the chain one then chain one. Do 3 more double crotchets through that same chain 1. You end up with 6 double crotchets and a chain 1 through the chain 1's. This is what you'll do whenever you need to increase.
When your done with the hat you can add a band at the bottom if you choose to do so. I did not do that, but you are free to add different accessories as you wish. Thank you and make time for yarn everyday.

What was your inspiration?
My inspiration is the Kingston cap, but I felt it was too complex. This hat is like a simpler version of it that I made myself.
What are you most proud of?
I am proud that we can just take a bunch of different yarns and put them together and it will be pretty. The possibilities are endless with yarn and it will be my friend for the rest of my life.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
This hat is all doubled crocheted so if you don't know how to do that then learn it before you start this hat. In the end you'll have a very pretty hat that you can pretty much wear anywhere.
