What was your inspiration?
I have always loved the quilt pattern called Grandma's Flower Garden so I took a basic hexagon pattern and designed my own crocheted blanket! Sorry for the blurry photo - don't know what happened there! lol Sorrowfully I didn't count the amount of hexagons needed as I sewed it together as I went along. My DIL loved it so much I gave it to her for their bed
What are you most proud of?
Perserving in this until it was done! Easy pattern but a little difficult to put together
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I put this together as I went and I would strongly advise NOT to do that. I made the flowers and then worked around them. BIG MISTAKE! If you want to put it together row by row would be fine but don't do the flowers and work around them. Its like a huge puzzle!
