Cut a piece of fabric approx. 3 1/2 inches square, fold into quarters from corner to corner forming a triangle. Slip stitch the raw edge with a loose gathering stitch. What was your inspiration?
I had been making the flowers for headbands and barrettes when my 27 yr. old son suggested I attach them to flip flops. What a great idea!
What are you most proud of?
The way I put fabrics together in a whimsical way.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Practice makes perfect when sewing the flowers.
