What was your inspiration?

We were on vacation and visited a yarn shop where one of these scarves had been started by the owner. It looked so stunning, my girls and I just had to have one each for ourselves. We promptly bought the yarn and I just now got around to knitting them up.

What are you most proud of?

This was not easy yarn to learn to knit with (at least for me). While knitting the first one, there were many times where I almost decided to quit - it was only that I did not want to disappoint the kids that I persevered. Boy am I glad I did!! After a little bit, I got used to this yarn and by the end I was getting pretty good at it. I would definitely knit another one if the yarn presented itself.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Keep going!

Sure! Just cast on 6 stitches and keep knitting until you are done. I used this youtube video to cast on: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=83P3yjOfp14
