What materials did you use? all cotton fabrics, in a range of light to dark gray and black, a range of golden yellow, and lightand darker blue

What are you most proud of? the quilt seems to sparkle

What advice would you give someone starting this project? go with the flow. I decided each blocks coloring while doing it. no drawing before I started.

what pattern?

This is my own design, no pattern. basically My son selected the colors and fabrics. Then I cut them into stripes of 4 different width. After that I spontanously sew them together with a free cut diagonal and different lengths. The last step was to decide on the sequence of the stripes. I tried to develop a plan, but that was time consuming, and I was in a rush :-)
