Here are some details about my project:

What materials did you use? Jim Thompson silk shell, gold dupioni silk for the lining, and interlined with wool jacketing. The pattern is an oop Kwik Sew jacket.

What are you most proud of? At last I was able to attach the collar, waistband and cuff with fully enclosed seams using the burrito method. I can't recall which of the several dozen configurations I used but at least I didn't have a straight jacket when I was finished. And I had no ripping with the rib knit!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Craftsy classes, of course. I've only been sewing for six months, and other than learning by making lots of errors, I've gained the most from Craftsy. And you tube for welt pockets.

I love your label! Seriously......the jacket, too. Wow that fabric is just too delicious! I really have been needing some inspiration lately, and looking at your projects has given me a kick to sit down at my machine today. Thank you for sharing your work.
