Instructions

This is great practice for rotary cutting and strip pieceing. Definitely looks harder than it is!

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Home

Style: Classic, Traditional

Materials

Quilting fabric, thread, batting, binding

What was your inspiration?

The coming greens of March (St. Patricks Day!) and the budding flowers outside my window.

What are you most proud of?

That I was able to mostly make this one from my stash (I did have to buy the inner border, but the rest was right out of my overflowing closet :)

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Strip piecing makes it easy to make a quit with small pieces like this - give it a try!

Very pretty sis. You are good at picking colors. I saw a huge irish chain this weekend at a quilt show. It was green and white and had celtic knots made with bias strips appliqud in the center of the blocks.

Wonderful colors. Love the contrast the dark green provides--a really bold accent color that provides a graphic quality to the lovely flowers and greenery.
