My granddaughter Celeste loves purple!!
What are you most proud of?
How striking the lime green is with the deep purple cotton yarns. Pattern was right on the money and easy to follow. Except for the crocheted flowers directions...they were kind of tough to follow so I used YouTube and found plenty of visual help there. Just search for "crocheted flowers."
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Practice a little bit working with cotton yarn, if you haven't worked something up using it. It can be quite a bit different than non-cotton yarns which just seem to slide on a hook or needles. So, maybe try a washcloth first, then go to this pattern.
