Instructions
I first picked out a clip art line drawing of the flower, then traced it onto freezer paper. I cut out all of one color at a time and ironed it onto my fabric. I used watercolor crayons to add color. Then I cut out the next section and colored it. I used painters tape where the colors met. Finally I added free-motion quilting using varigated thread.Difficulty:

What was your inspiration?
I keep seeing these free-motion and paint designs and finally got up the courage to try it out. I think it turned out pretty well!
What are you most proud of?
I am excited that I was able to complete this project in less than and hour.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Make sure the freezer paper is firmly attatched to your fabric. Otherwise, the watercolor bleeds through.
