What are you most proud of? I like the fact that the effect turned out quite well, even though I am no expert.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? It's easier than you think, just take your time and choose your background and the "shadow" fabric so they work together. Large, bright colorful prints make the floating blocks pop out. Have fun with it, enjoy the process!

This is an awesome design! I love the way the blocks float right off the ends of the quilt. I can follow a pattern, but to design or 're-design' a pattern, now that takes skill. This is a must-do for me. Very, very nice! Thank you so much for sharing.

Do you have a tutorial for this? If so, where can I find it? Thanks

Hello. I personally do not have a tutorial for this, but you can go either on YouTube, or the website for Missouri Star Quilt Company and search "Illusion Quilt" and Jenny Doan has a great tutorial for a very, very similar quilt design.
