2 yards of fleece are required to make this throw.
Open the fleece and cut three 18" long panels from the width of the fabric - the panels will be 18 x WOF.
Using a dinner plate, round outside corners of panels 1 and 3. DO NOT round corners of panel 2.
Machine embroidery the name or initials on one rounded corner of panel 3, making sure that the stitching is on the top side of the fabric.
Serge the straight edge of panel 1 to the straight edge of panel 2 (*wrong sides together), making sure rounded corners are the outer edge.
Serge the straight edge of panel 3 to the remaining straight edge of panel 2 (*wrong sides together), making sure that the rounded corners of panel 3 are on the outer edge.
You will now have three panels sewn together. The outside corners of the throw are the rounded corners.
Serge around raw edge making sure to go slowly on the rounded corners.
* Wrong sides together for serged stitches to be on the top of the throw. If you want the stitches on the back, then sew right sides together, but keep in mind that this is the side that will probably be against the body of the user, so there would be raised stitches on that side.2 yards of fleece are required to make this throw.
